South Korea ranks high in a good way (#34 out of 180 slots?), which corresponds to my sense of it not being a "low trust society" -although I'm far from an expert on that topic.
The differences with the WVS data on trust undermine my confidence in the worth of that WVS data. Point for you.

It depends on whether "low trust" is in absolute terms, or by the standards of rich countries.
The original comment was that it was low trust like Italy. Italy is a lot less trusting, but it's an outlier and dropping it, SK is at the bottom of rich countries.

I mean that this list puts SK as untrustworthy by the standards of rich countries, matching what thorfinn said. You are free to say that they're both wrong, but this post looks to me to be using one against the other.
