Chris Capel aka pdf23ds = smart guy

Here's Chris' recent comment on Eliezer's recent post on the proper use of bias on the overcomingbias.com blog. It was an intelligent and well-written comment, in my opinion. The second link is to his blog.

Jason Ruspini: Smart Guy With An Interesting Blog

I don't know anything else about him, but based on this comment in overcomingbias.com Jason Ruspini is a smart guy, and provides useful analysis and commentary.

Here's his blog, which (unfortunately) seems limited to prediction markets.

Based on the comment in overcomingbias.com linked above, he's capable of providing insights on a wider range of topics than prediction markets, important as they are for minimizing existential risk (and maximizing my personal odds of persistence).

Blog Introduction

Hi, my pseudonym is Hopefully Anonymous. Through this blog, I plan to consolidate my anonymous quest to  understand reality as best as possible, so as to maximize my odds of staying alive (forever). I have been making comments on other blogs such as overcomingbias and marginalrevolution, and on message boards such as imminst.org and the jref forums, In the future I plan to post mirror comments here, as well as long explanations. I also hope to lure commentators from those other blogs and forums here, for sustained discussion and crossfertilization. Feedback is welcome. I may also create a sister discussion board if the heirarchical nature of discussion in this blog format seems to be slowing things down.
