Woo Sook Hwang, the scandaled South Korean cloning scientist, reportedly moved to Thailand to continue working on human cloning:

As this blog post notes, the UN is considering a global ban on reproductive human cloning. I'm disgusted. Large minorities of people globally apparently do suupport reproductive human cloning.
Although I suppose therapeutic cloning is a big enough loophole to let in reproductive cloning. Still, reproductive cloning is only banned in 50 nations. I encourage those with resources to race to make it a reality before a global ban.
I recently watched a program in which a man was objecting to the use of embryo screening for breast cancer. His arguments were:
1) Some women with the gene do not get cancer.
2) Some women get cancer but still live happy lives.
3) Life has its ups and downs and we just have to accept the whole package.
I felt that the best way to test his conviction would be to put a single bullet in a six chamber revolver and point it at his chest. After all:
1) He might not be shot.
2) He might be shot and still survive to live a happy life.
3) Anyway, shit happens.
